Automated Precision Cleaning for R&D and Pilot-Scale Life Sciences Formulations
In laboratory environments, clinical trial preparations, and boutique pilot runs, achieving validated cleanliness for glass ampoules is a strict prerequisite. The Lingyao Compact Ultrasonic Ampoule Washing Machine is a specialized, space-saving automation unit engineered to process up to 1000 ampoules per hour (BPH).
Measuring just 1200mm x 800mm, this highly efficient stainless steel platform integrates industrial-grade ultrasonic cavitation with PLC-controlled alternating water and clean compressed air flushes. It completely replaces inconsistent manual washing protocols, delivering a rigorous, repeatable cleaning standard for high-value Bioactive liquids and premium cosmetic serums.
When processing small batches (under 2000 units), many research facilities rely on manual or semi-manual washing methods. This introduces severe quality control vulnerabilities:
Micro-Residue Failure: Manual rinsing cannot generate the necessary physical force to dislodge microscopic particulate matter or manufacturing dust stuck to the inner walls of the ampoule. This leads to immediate rejection during downstream visual clarity inspections.
Glass Fracture Risks: Handling fragile glass ampoules manually increases the risk of micro-fractures. If a compromised ampoule proceeds to the filling and high-temperature sealing stage, it will shatter, contaminating the entire batch.
Space and Budget Constraints: Heavy-duty, high-speed rotary washers used in commercial facilities are excessively large, power-hungry, and too costly for specialized small-batch pilot runs.
The Lingyao compact washer resolves these small-batch friction points through automated acoustic physics. The machine utilizes a dedicated Ultrasonic Washing Bath. High-frequency sound waves create microscopic cavitation bubbles in the cleaning medium. When these bubbles implode, they scrub the internal and external surfaces of the glass, effortlessly detaching stubborn particulates without exerting any mechanical stress on the fragile ampoule.
Following the ultrasonic bath, the Premium European PLC architecture automatically advances the ampoules through synchronized rinsing stations. Precisely timed alternating jets of purified water and clean compressed air (0.5 - 0.7 MPa) flush the loosened debris out of the vials. The final high-pressure clean air purge expels residual moisture, preparing the ampoules for immediate downstream thermal depyrogenation.
